Прийнятий законопроект забороняє використання програм "Лабораторії Касперського" в цивільних і військових відомствах.

Сенат Конгресу США проголосував за заборону використання продукції "Лабораторії Касперського" американськими державними установами.

Поправка була включена в оборонний бюджет на 2018 фінансовий рік. За нього проголосували 89 сенаторів, вісім виступили проти. Прийнятий законопроект забороняє використання програм "Лабораторії Касперського" в цивільних і військових відомствах.

Нагадаємо, що раніше МВБ США закликало всі цивільні державні установи країни протягом 90 днів видалити будь-які продукти Касперського, однак силові структури були непідконтрольні директиві. 

Під прицілом американських спецслужб: ФБР взялося за "Лабораторію Касперського"
Раніше агенти Федерального бюро розслідувань відвідали не менше 10 співробітників "Лабораторії Касперського", що проживають в США.
