Основная активность российских чиновников пришлась на вторую половину 2016 года — в этот период Google получил от них более 11 тыс. запросов, сообщает Сегодня

По итогам 2016 года число запросов в Google от российских госорганов, органов правопорядка и полиции на удаление противоправного контента выросло на 478%, до 13,2 тыс., следует из отчета под названием Transparency Report, регулярно выпускаемого компанией Google.

Запросы из России составили более половины от всех запросов на удаление контента, полученных Google со всего мира: госорганы всех остальных стран суммарно направили в американскую IT-корпорацию только 9,3 тыс. запросов на ограничение доступа к противоправной информации.

85% российских запросов были направлены с целью обеспечения "национальной безопасности", следует из отчета. Еще 5% запросов касались "критики представителей власти", 2% были связаны с пропагандой суицида и другими нарушениями законодательства. Google удовлетворил 74% российских заявок — упомянутые в них ресурсы были заблокированы или удалены.

В своем отчете Google приводит ряд примеров того контента, который просит блокировать Россия. Госорганы, например, требовали удалить информацию о терактах в Грозном в одном из блогов.

Также корпорация ограничила доступ к некоторым материалам запрещенной в России террористической организации "Исламское государство", заблокировала доступ из России к "Поваренной книге анархиста" авторства Уильяма Пауэлла (пособие по изготовлению наркотиков и взрывных устройств из незапрещенных химикатов и предметов).

Основная активность российских чиновников пришлась на вторую половину 2016 года — в этот период Google получил от них более 11 тыс. запросов.

Согласно статистике Google, большая часть запросов, а именно 43,4%, в эти полгода касалась видео на YouTube, 43,2% касались веб-поиска. По требованию Министерства внутренних дел РФ Google заблокировал на территории России 160 видеороликов на YouTube, в которых предположительно содержались экстремистские материалы.
