Мільярдер Олег Дерипаска запропонував Конгресу США свою співпрацю у розслідуванні можливого втручання Росії в американські президентські вибори 2016 року.  Про це повідомляє видання The New York Times з посиланням на слова представників  Конгресу.

Співрозмовники видання зауважили, що росіянин був готовий співпрацювати зі США, якщо йому нададуть повний імунітет від можливого судового переслідування. Попри це, у Конгресі Дерипаску відмовили, адже вважають, що його імунітет завадить розслідуванню.

Тим часом ФБР також не збирається викликати російського олігарха на допит у цій справі.

Зазначимо, що видання Associated Press, з посиланням на власні джерела, раніше написало, що колишній очільник виборчого штабу президента США Дональда Трампа Пол Манафорт таємно працював на Дерипаску і просував інтереси президента РФ Володимира Путіна.
