Уральський депутат Антон Бурков звинувачує компанію Google в тому, що вона читає його пошту.

Засідання у справі відбудеться у Замоскворіцькому районному суді міста Москви. Позивач вимагає від Google компенсації у 50 тисяч рублів (приблизно 750 доларів США),пише Media Sapiens

Антон Бурков скаржиться на те, що американська компанія краде його приватні дані. Депутат розповідає, що в одному з листів, відправлених через поштовий сервіс Gmail, згадав Європейський суд з прав людини. Після цього, за його словами, помітив появу контекстної реклами туристичних і юридичних фірм, а також дешевих авіаквитків до Страсбурга (французького міста, де розташований суд).

Позивач вважає, що робот Google прочитав його лист попри декларовану конфіденційність кореспонденції. Депутат зазначає, що раніше представники компанії повідомляли, що вся інформація захищена від несанкціонованого доступу, а співробітники підрядники чи агенти доступу не можуть розкрити чи знищити дані, які зберігаються на пошті.

Водночас експерти вважають, що компанія Google навряд чи розкриє в суді алгоритми роботи пошуковика, оскільки це є комерційною таємницею.
