Центр протидії дезінформації при РНБО повідомляє, що українцям надходять смс із закликом надсилати інформацію про ЗСУ в обмін на грошову винагороду. 

ЦПД нагадує, що будь-яка співпраця з ворогом може прирівнюватись до держзради і каратись в умовах воєнного стану позбавленням волі строком до 15 років або довічним увʼязненням. 

Розсилаючи подібні повідомлення, росіяни хочуть отримати важливу інформацію та використати її проти української армії. Крім того, пропонуючи за це гроші, вони підживлюють свій меседж про «надзвичайну бідність України». Мовляв, українці готові на все заради грошей. Втім, якщо українці і стали біднішими (хоч ця проблема і перебільшена), то причиною цього є виключно агресія Росії проти України.
