Журналисты Reuters со ссылкой на Министерство внутренних дел Нидерландов сообщает, что референдум по ассоциации Украины с Европейским союзом, в рамках которого жители этой страны большинством проголосовали против вступления Украины в ЕС, может оказаться «фейком». Как передаёт PRпортал со ссылкой на ответ, который в рамках запроса получило RTL от МВД Нидерландов, реальность подписей на этом референдуме не проверялась.

Согласно официальному ответу представителей МВД Нидерландов, единственной проверкой референдума на предмет «фейковых» подписей был анализ списков фамилий участников референдума на соответствие. В действительности же, факт того, являются ли эти подписи реальными, тщательным образом не проверялся. В Избирательном совете Нидерландов отметили, что действующие законы не обязывают проверять реальность этих подписей.

Напомним, в Нидерландах состоялся референдум по Украине, в рамках которого граждане голосовали за то, стоит ли их стране поддерживать ассоциацию Украина-ЕС. Согласно официальным данным, против такой ассоциации проголосовали 61% респондентов, тогда как лишь 38,2% участников референдума сказали на нём «да».
