Депутати ратифікували угоду між урядом України та Європейською комісією про участь у програмі «Креативна Європа». За це рішення проголосували 244 депутати, повідомляє Радіо Свобода

«Основна мета – розвиток української культури, просування конкурентоздатності українського культурного продукту, промоція і захист культурного та мовного розмаїття в Україні», – презентував віце-прем’єр-міністр, міністр культури В'ячеслав Кириленко. 

Угода передбачає участь України у програмах культурного співробітництва з ЄС за чотирма напрямками. Сума одного проекту, на який може претендувати Україна, варіюється від 100 тисяч євро до 2 мільйонів євро. При цьому сума внеску за участь у програмі для України на 2016 рік складає лише 1 євро. 

Угода про участь України у програмі ЄС «Креативна Європа» була підписана у Киві 19 листопада минулого року.Співпраця триватиме до 2020 року. Загальний бюджет програми сягає 1,5 мільярдів євро.
