За декілька хвилин до початку прес-конференції президентів Сполучених Штатів та Росії охорона вивела із зали журналіста.

Перед прес-конференцією охорона попросила вийти журналіста, який перебував у залі. Сам чоловік заявив, що на брифінг його відправила організація The Nation (“Нація”, - ред.), але не дав відповідь на запитання, чи є у нього акредитація на захід.

Зазначається, що двоє охоронців вивели чоловіка із зали, однак він залишив свої речі. Згодом журналіст повернувся за речами та дістав аркуш паперу з написом "Угода про денуклеаризацію".
