Папа Римский Франциск впервые снимется в художественном фильме – он сыграет самого себя в семейной приключенческой ленте "По ту сторону солнца".

Папа Римский сам попросил кинематографистов создать фильм по мотивам Нового завета, который мог бы объяснить детям послание Иисуса Христа, передает журнал Variety.

Работа над картиной начнется в первой половине 2016 года в Италии. Прибыль от проката картины передадут на благотворительность.
