Протягом останніх декількох днів невідомі організували масовані DDOS-атаки на сайт «Новости Севастополя», внаслідок чого сайт став недоступний для інтернет-користувачів. 

Про це Крим.Реалії повідомив представник редакції сайту.

За його словами, напрямки DDOS-атак на сайт постійно змінюються, і дуже важко технічно визначити їхнє джерело. В редакції не виключають, що за спиною невідомих хакерів стоять місцеві чиновники.

З літа 2014 року сайт «Новости Севастополя» публікує гострі викривальні матеріали про корупцію і зловживання в уряді та правоохоронних органах Севастополя, карикатури на губернатора міста Сергія Меняйла, а також репортажі про діяльність правозахисного руху «Захистимо Севастополь».

Як повідомляли Крим.Реалії, на початку березня провайдер «Севастополь Телеком» почав блокувати доступ до сайту «Новости Севастополя» для своїх абонентів.
