Народний депутат Володимир Ар'єв був обраний президентом комітету ПАРЄ з питань культури, освіти, науки і медіа. Про це він повідомив у Facebook.

Як повідомлялося сьогодні, новим головою Парламентської асамблеї Ради Європи обраний іспанський депутат Педро Аграмунт. Аграмунт є членом сенату Іспанії від Валенсії.

Політик відомий заявами на підтримку України, також він є послідовним критиком анексії Криму. Водночас дехто вважає його обрання контроверсійним, оскільки його ім'я звучало у журналістських розслідуваннях щодо підкупу членів ПАРЄ з боку Азербайджану.
