Народний депутат України від політичної сили «Самопоміч» Олена Бабак заявила про рішення скласти депутатські повноваження, повідомляє портал «Слово і діло». 

За її словами, причини для такого рішення виключно особистого характеру. Бабак відмітила, що бажає змінити свою професійну діяльність, так як вона є більше експертом, аніж політиком. За її словами, «діяльність в політиці виявилась для неї складною, як для людини».

Представниця «Самопомочі» заявила, що вже сповістила членів фракції, а також лідера партії, львівського міського голову Андрія Садового. Вона наголосила, що в партії та фракції у неї не існує протиріч та розбіжностей з членами політсили і вона щиро завдячує колегам за отриманий досвід роботи.

Керівництво фракції також надало свій коментар з цього приводу. Зокрема, Олег Березюк зазначив, що Олена Бабак є одним з найпрофесійніших нардепів в цьому парламенті, однак існує особисте життя, до якого варто ставитися з належною повагою.

Варто відмітити, що Олена Бабак потрапила до Верховної ради за списками «Самопомочі», перебуваючи на восьмому місці у списку. Вона була заступинком керівника комітету, який опікувався питаннями будівництва, містобудування та ЖКГ.
