У штаті Огайо білка спровокувала коротке замикання, яке завадило виборцям голосувати.

В ході дострокового голосування на виборах президента США в штаті Огайо сталося коротке замикання, яке спровокувала білка. Про це повідомляє CNN.

"Ми залишилися без електроенергії і були змушені скористатися паперовими бюлетенями", - заявив заступник голови виборчої комісії Ерік Морган.

Дострокове голосування відбувалося 31 жовтня в переддень Хеллоуїна. У підсумку через дії білки в будівлі не було електрики більш як 8 годин і близько 300 виборців використовували паперові бюлетені.

Морган зазначив, що поки не знає, чи вижила білка в результаті короткого замикання, яке призвело до втрати електрики.

Раніше повідомлялося, що в штаті Флорида відкрилися виборчі дільниці для дострокового голосування на президентських виборах.

Дострокове голосування крім Флориди дозволено ще в 32 штатах США, а також в окрузі Колумбія.
