Советник мэра Львова Яника Мерило заявила, что работает советником мэра Львова без зарплаты. Об этом она рассказала в эфире телеканала "112 Украина".

"Я никогда не получала зарплату в Украине. Всегда была внештатным советником - как тогда, так и сейчас. Я как не получала, так и не получаю зарплату. Даже косвенно я для себя не вижу этой возможности. Еще два года назад я приняла для себя решение, что у меня есть возможность применять тот опыт, который я 20 лет в Эстонии получала и других странах, и сейчас реально изменить что-то. Это стоит много больше, чем зарплата. Но это проблема. То, что мы хотим специалистов высшего уровня, но мы не можем им платить соответственно…. Зарплата - это часть мотивации", - заявила Мерило.

"Я в Украине живу на свои деньги… Я живу в гостиницах, я очень много работаю - с 7 утра до 11 вечера, мне некогда думать о квартире", - добавила она.

Ранее сообщалось, что экс-советник министра экономического развития и торговли Яника Мерило назначена советником городского головы Львова Андрея Садового.

Напомним, 5 января 2015 г. Яника Мерило была назначена советником министра экономического развития и торговли Айвараса Абромавичуса. В сферу ее ответственности входило привлечение инвестиций, улучшение инвестиционного и бизнес-климата, координация международных программ и разработка решений электронного правительства. 18 мая Мерило сообщила, что покинула этот пост из-за отсутствия полномочий для внедрения электронного правительства.

До назначения советником она была управляющим директором Украинской ассоциации венчурного капитала и прямых инвестиций (UVCA).

Яника Мерило является гражданкой Эстонии.
