Пол Манафорт, который в свое время возглавлял предвыборный штаб американского лидера Дональда Трампа, имеет планы по работе – внедриться в бизнес миллиардера из Китая, который основал Тихоокеанскую строительную группу Яна Цзехэ, о чем информирует Financial Times.

Насколько известно, на минувшей неделе в Шанхае состоялась встреча между Манафортом и китайским миллиардером. Как рассказал журналистам руководитель строительной компании, бывший председатель предвыборной кампании Дональда Трампа сможет помочь ему определить, чего можно ожидать от инфраструктурного бума в Соединенных Штатах Америки.

Однако в это же время помощник Манафорта Джейсон Малони, давая ответ на запрос представителей средств массовой информации, опроверг данные о работе своего руководителя на Цзехэ. Немного позже он подтвердил данные о том, что его руководитель таки был по работе в Китае, но, согласно словам Малони, речи не шло ни о каких сделках. Как известно в апреле месяце от журналистов агентства Associated Press всплыла информация о том, что Манафорт получал деньги по амбарной книге Партии регионов.
