Динамические события разворачиваются в иракском Курдистане. 23 сентября официально началось голосование на референдуме с провозглашения независимости. С помощью интернета первыми голосуют зарегистрированные избиратели, проживающие за пределами этого автономного региона Ирака. Основная дата голосования назначена на 25 сентября. Об этом сообщает PRпортал.

Как пишет в своем блоге аналитик общественной сети «Опора» Александр Клюжев, вчера состоялся последний масштабный митинг в поддержку независимости курдов, на котором президент Курдистанского региона Барзани сделал свой, по всей видимости, уже исторический спич. Федеративная, правовая и демократическая страна – такие обещания у лидеров по новой стране.

Аналитик подчеркнул, что с приближением дня голосования США настойчиво настаивали на переносе референдума и необходимости переговоров с Багдадом. США считают, что есть риск дестабилизации региона и ослабление борьбы с ИГИЛ. Багдад назвал референдум незаконным. Ответ курдов был прогнозируемым – референдум будет. На сторону Курдистана стал только Израиль, который признал легитимным право курдов провести референдум.
