Первым пассажиром с момента запуска сервиса такси Uber в четверг, 30 июня, в Киеве стал мэр столицы Виталий Кличко.

Кличко посетил презентацию Uber в Киеве и поздравил компанию с выходом на украинский рынок, а также отметил удобство сервиса, передает Новое время

"Я рад, что Киев стал первым городом в Украине, где начинает работать сервис Uber. Мы стремимся привлекать в столицу инновационные проекты, в частности, и в автомобильных перевозках. Сегодня Uber - международная компания, которая быстро развивается и предоставляет он-лайн сервис в более 450 городах мира", - отметил Кличко.

"С приходом Uber в Киев, у пользователей приложения, которые привыкли к его услугам в Лондоне, Париже и других городах, появится возможность так же удобно и с комфортом передвигаться по Киеву", - также добавил мэр.

Кличко отметил, что с момента запуска и до вечера воскресенья, 3 июля, все киевляне смогут воспользоваться сервисом Uber бесплатно. "Я уверен, что киевляне оценят качество и безопасность сервиса", - отметил он.
