Кіберполіція викрила потужну бот-мережу Mumblehard, керовану з РФ

Протягом тривалого часу в України функціонував сервер, який керував масштабною мережею для розсилки спаму. Бот-мережа була сформована зі зламаних серверів цілого ряду приватних українських та закордонних компаній, заражених шкідливою програмою Linux/Mumblehard. Про це повідомляє прес-служба Департаменту кіберполіціїНаціональної поліції України.

Кількість таких серверів варіювалося в різні проміжки часу і, станом на березень 2016 року, перебуваючи в 63 країнах світу, становила близько 4000, 33 з яких українські.

Зловмисники могли віддалено виконувати команди на заражених серверах, отримувати несанкціонований доступ до оброблюваної ними інформації та несанкціоновано використовувати їх обчислювальні ресурси.

Усе це, включно з масовим поширенням повідомлень електрозв'язку, без попередньої згоди адресатів, призводило до витоку інформації. Крім того, завдавало матеріальні та репутаційні збитки, оскільки IP-адреси заражених серверів потрапляли в різні чорні списки.

"Сервер управління бот-мережею Mumblehard, адміністрований російськими спамерами, був відшуканий у південних регіонах нашої країни", - повідомляють у кіберполіції.

Наразі вжито заходів щодо ліквідації кіберзагрози та розшуку причетних до злочину осіб
