Американский рэпер Канье Уэст удалил со страницы в Twitter все свои записи в поддержку нового президента США Дональда Трампа, сообщает TMZ.

По данным издания, на такой шаг Уэст решился из-за закона об ужесточении иммиграционной политики, который запрещает въезд в США гражданам семи стран с мусульманским большинством.

Ранее сообщалось, что Канье Уэст поддерживал Трампа в ходе избирательной кампании, а позже даже встретился с ним в Нью-Йорке. Как написал тогда в соцсети рэпер: "Чувствую, что важно напрямую общаться с нашим будущим президентом, если мы действительно хотим перемен".

Далее Уэст разместил также в Twitter снимок с обложкой номера журнала Time, который назвал Трампа "человеком года". Номер был подписан Трампом, назвавшим Уэста "великолепным другом".

Но 27 января Трамп подписал скандальный указ, согласно которому на территорию США запрещается въезд гражданам семи государств: Ирана, Ирака, Йемена, Ливии, Сирии, Сомали и Судана. Кроме того, сроком на 120 дней приостановлен прием сирийских беженцев. В документе также отмечается, что въезд в страну сирийских мигрантов наносит ущерб интересам США.

Звезды массово возмутились этим законом и начали придумывать различные акции, направленные против Трампа.
