Журналисты российскогого государственного телеканала НТВ позвонили министру, представившись другими лицами. В передаче было создано впечатление, что якобы министру звонит человек, представившийся министром юстиции Украины, пише ru.delfi.lt.

Пресс-атташе министра Кестутис Вашкелявичюс сказал BNS, что во время разговора произошла подмена собеседников. "Это еще раз свидетельствует о том, что манипулирование происходит с целью провокации", - сказал представитель министра.

Россияне спрашивали Линкявичюса о фашизме в России и и о стремлении Литвы возместить причинённый Россией ущерб от оккупации.

"Я скажу вам откровенно, мы участвуем в этом процессе, но и у нас есть трезвый взгляд на вещи и понимание того, что реально, а что нереально", - сказал в интервью министр, отвечая на вопрос о планах требовать от России компенсацию за советскую оккупацию. Министр также сказал, что в России больше фашизма, чем в странах Балтии.
