Фільм-розслідування Української служби «Радіо Свобода» «Буча. Вбивство самооборонця Побігая» отримав у США золоту нагороду телекінопремії New York Festivals 2025 (New York Festivals TV & Film Awards) у номінації «Права людини». Про це повідомили організатори заходу, передає «Крим.Реалії». 

Зазначається, що переможці телевізійної й кінопремії 2024 NYF були оголошені у Нью-Йорку ввечері 22 травня під час віртуального гала-вечора Storytellers.

«Буча. Вбивство самооборонця Побігая» — це друга частина розслідування журналіста «Радіо Свобода» Дмитра Джулая про масові вбивства у місті Буча, що на Київщині, під час російської окупації у березні 2022 року. В ньому детально досліджено обставини розстрілів і названо імена російських військових, які можуть бути причетними до страти місцевого самооборонця Олексія Побігая.

Повідомляється, що торік документальний фільм проєкту «Крим.Реалії» (Українська служба «Радіо Свобода») «Тиха депортація» отримав золоту нагороду телекінопремії New York Festivals 2024 (New York Festivals TV & Film Awards) у номінації «Права людини».

Премія TV & Film Awards заснована в 1957 році. Серед цьогорічних переможців у різних категоріях були Al Jazeera English, ARD, Voice of America, ABCTV, PBS, BBC, CGTN, Deutsche Welle, ESPN.
