Две хакерские группировки, связанные со спецслужбами Российской Федерации, в 2015 и 2016 годах осуществляли хакерские атаки на объекты инфраструктуры, правительственные и учебные учреждения с целью похищения данных. Кибератаки были также направлены на одну из политических партий. Об этом говорится в докладе Федерального бюро расследований и Министерства внутренней безопасности США.

Доклад подтверждает кибератаки РФ во время избирательной кампании в США и описывает методы, которые использовали хакеры. Речь идет, в том числе, о фишинге - массовой рассылке электронных писем.

"Эта деятельность (кибератаки - ред.) спецслужб РФ является частью продолжающейся кампании кибератак, направленных на правительство США и граждан", - говорится в документе.

В докладе упоминается также название хакерской группировки Fancy Bear, которая провела ряд кибератак, используя уязвимые места операционной системы Windows.

Согласно документу, хакеры, связанные со спецслужбами РФ, продолжают заниматься фишингом. Одна из атак была проведена в ноябре, через несколько дней после президентских выборов в США.

27 декабря США добавили еще 23 российских компании в санкционный список.

28 декабря в администрации Обамы заявили, что возможными вариантами ответа США на кибератаки РФ могут стать уголовные дела и новые санкции.
