Администрация социальной сети Facebook официально объявила о том, что страницы, регулярно постящие фейковые новости, не смогут закупать у нее рекламу. На данный момент сеть не позволяет рекламодателям откручивать рекламу, которая содержит линки на статьи, помеченные как фейковые сервисами фактчекинга. Этот анонс – следующий шаг в таком направлении, передает ain.ua.

"Если страницы постоянно постят статьи, помеченные как фейковые, этим постоянным нарушителям будет запрещено размещать рекламу на Facebook. Это обновление позволит снизить распространение фейковых новостей", – говорится в заявлении компании.

В компании не называют точное количество фейковых новостей, которое дозволяется запостить администратору страницы прежде, чем для нее заблокируют рекламные возможности. Этот бан не будет действовать постоянно, если страница в дальнейшем воздержится от публикации фейков, ей вернут возможность покупать рекламу.

Напомним, еще в декабре прошлого года администрация сети объявила, что начнет помечать фейковые новости.
