Соцсеть Facebook будет размещать возле сомнительных публикаций блок Related Articles со ссылками на достоверную информацию, для чего собирается использовать усовершенствованный алгоритм машинного обучения, сообщает Телекритика.

По мнению компании, такой подход позволит представить пользователям информацию с разных ракурсов и снизит вероятность перепостов фейковых новостей.

"Связанные материалы дают пользователям больше контекста по теме. Так они могут принимать более обоснованные решения по поводу того, что читают и чем хотят поделиться. Статьи с фактчекингом помогут людям понять, что является правдой, а что ложью", – говоритменеджер по продуктам Facebook News Feed Тесса Лион.

По информации Techcrunch, проверкой новостей займутся информагентство Associated Press и ресурсы PolitiFact и Snopes. Это позволит Facebook одновременно оградить себя от обвинений в цензуре материалов и ограничить распространение фейков.

В ближайшее время инструмент будет протестирован в США, Нидерландах, Франции и Германии.

Напомним, в начале марта Facebook начал маркировать фейковые новости отметкой Disputed («Оспаривается»).

В чуть ранее, в январе, Министерство информационной политики Украины обратилось к администрации Facebook с просьбой ввести механизмы борьбы с фейковыми новостями в украинском сегменте соцсети.
