Європейське агентство з безпеки польотів (EASA) рекомендувало авіакомпаніям припинити польоти до Москви, Санкт-Петербурга, Єкатеринбурга, Ростова-на-Дону та Самари після інциденту зі збиттям пасажирського літака «Азербайджанських авіаліній» у Чечні.
Рекомендація обґрунтована війною в Україні, яка створює високі ризики для цивільної авіації над територією росії. Зокрема, російська система ППО становить серйозну загрозу через можливі помилки ідентифікації цивільних літаків. Це пов’язано із активізацією систем у відповідь на українські ракети та безпілотники, які завдають ударів углиб території росії.
На сьогодні жодна авіакомпанія ЄС не здійснює польоти до росії чи через її повітряний простір. Проте рекомендація EASA стосується перевізників із третіх країн, які все ще обслуговують рейси до рф.
Рекомендація діє до 31 липня 2025 року, але може бути переглянута раніше залежно від змін у безпековій ситуації.
На тлі цих подій вже близько 10 іноземних авіакомпаній ухвалили рішення про припинення польотів до росії.
