У найбільшому місті Бразилії Сан-Паулу в масовому мітингу з вимогою відставки президента Ділми Русеф взяли участь 1,4 мільйона чоловік. Про це повідомляє Російська служба BBC.

Зазначається, що акції протесту пройшли в неділю по всій країні. За деякими підрахунками, в 150 населених пунктах на вулиці вийшли понад 3 мільйони чоловік.

Учасники акцій протесту звинувачували Русеф в провальній економічній політиці, яка вилилася в рецесію, а також у причетності до корупції.

Президент, у свою чергу, відкидає всі звинувачення і заявляє, що не збирається йти у відставку.

"Мирний характер цих недільних демонстрацій свідчить про зрілість суспільства, в якому уживаються різні думки і яке виявляє повагу чинним законам і інститутам", - зауважила Русеф.
