Аерозйомка дозволила показати київський монумент з нового ракурсу і в максимальному наближенні.

Проект здійснила команда Skyandmethod. Зйомка проводилася рано вранці 11 травня за допомоги безпілотного літаючого пристрою – мультикоптера,повідомляє Cultprostir.

На знімках добре видно, що вінок, який поклали на голову Батьківщини-матері до Дня пам'яті та примирення 8 травня, виконаний з надувного поліестеру – матеріалу, що використовується у повітряних кулях. Можна роздивитися також канали подачі повітря у вінок. Крім того, стало видно особливості обличчя статуї, які неможливо розгледіти з землі – зокрема те, що вона, виявляється, «косить» на одне око.

«З вінком Батьківщина-мати виглядає більш сучасно. Не так по-радянськи, як раніше. Страшна вона, звичайно – втім, та, що у Волгограді, ще страшніша. І треба враховувати, що такий монумент не розрахований на те, щоб дивитися йому «в обличчя». Риси обличчя, яка розташоване на майже 100-метровій висоті, знизу неможливо не те що розгледіти – навіть сфотографувати за допомогою спеціального об'єктива. А в цілому монумент дуже красивий », – розповів Cultprostir учасник Skyandmethod, відомий київський фотограф і блогер Олег Стельмах.
