Министр был принят в члены НСЖУ в декабре 2004 года.

Киевская организация Национального союза журналистов исключила из организации министра внутренних дел Виталия Захарченко.

Об этом сообщила ответственный секретарь Киевской организации НСЖУ Алла Малиенко, передает "Телекритика".

Она напомнила, что Захарченко был принят в члены НСЖУ в декабре 2004 года Донецкой областной организацией, а весной 2013-го министр МВД стал на учет в Киевской организации.

По словам Малиенко, Захарченко приняли в НСЖУ, так как он некоторое время работал телеведущим в Донецкой области.

Секретарь Киевской организации НСЖУ также отметила, что Захарченко исключили из-за "несоблюдения требований Евромайдана, частых случаев избиения журналистов и ненадлежащих расследований дел, касающихся журналистской деятельности".

Напомним, третий день подряд у МВД проходят акции протеста против преследований сотрудников СМИ с требованиями объективно расследовать нападение на журналистку, общественную активистку Татьяну Чорновол.
