Як пише Associated Press, Маск на заході заявив, що Трамп - єдиний, хто здатен "зберегти демократію в США". Він також попередив, що це можуть бути "останні вибори", якщо Трамп не переможе. Під час заходу Маск був у чорній кепці з гаслом Трампа "Зробимо Америку знову великою (Make America Great Again, MAGA)", підкреслюючи серйозність своїх слів.

Цей виступ став першою участю Маска в передвиборному мітингу Трампа, демонструючи їхнє посилене співробітництво на фінальному етапі виборчої кампанії. Трамп також пообіцяв призначити Маска головою урядової комісії з ефективності у разі свого повернення в Білий дім.
