Вночі відбулися віце-президентські дебати між Джей Ді Венсом та Тімом Уолзем. Ці дебати ні на що не впливають, максимум – можна було чекати чогось мемного. Але ні, все пройшло нудно, обговорювали внутрішню політику. Зокрема: кандидати майже нічого не говорили про Україну.  Основні теми їхніх виступів стосувалися ситуації на Близькому Сході, міграційної політики, репродуктивних прав. 

 Щодо війни Росії і України кандидат від демократів Тім Уолз акцентував, що слова Трампа щодо угод з Путіним та Кім Чен Ином є небезпечними та шкодять інтересам США.

Ді Венс мінімально переміг Уолза у дебатах на думку глядачів CBS News. 42% проголосували за республіканця,  41% за демократа. Ще 17% не визначилися.
