23-річна легкоатлетка Юлія Гавриляк здобула дебютну перемогу на чемпіонаті України з легкої атлетики в приміщенні на дистанції 800 м. Цю перемогу спортсменка присвятила своєму брату Олексію Григор’єву, який загинув на війні три місяці тому.

Після фінішу Юлія не змогла стримати сліз. 

“Тренер, який мене дуже підтримує, сказав перед змаганнями, що я маю бігти заради брата… Що я маю зробити все, щоб він мною пишався… Дуже важко, я розумію, що він більше ніколи не прийде за мене вболівати, тільки біг і допомагає мені зараз триматися”, – прокоментувала свій забіг чемпіонка. 

“Життя Олексія Григор’єва обірвалося три місяці тому внаслідок вибуху… Ще один наш захисник, молодий воїн став янголом, який тепер охоронятиме Україну з небес”, – йдеться в повідомленні на сторінці НОК України у Facebook.
