Соціал-демократична партія Німеччини програє регіональні вибори у  Північному Рейні-Вестфалії, регіоні, який традиційно вважається "лівим".

Про це повідомляє "Європейська правда" із посиланням на Bild.

За попередніми оцінками, партія Олафа Шольца набирає біля 28%, тоді як опозиційні християнські демократи – біля 35%.

Варто зазначити, що ХДС очолювала цю землю після виборів 2017 року. Проте до того кілька десятиліть вона булла "вотчиною" СДПН.

Саме тому перемога у цьому регіоні називалася "тестом на лідерство " для Олафа Шольца.  Це стало особливо важливо після недавньої поразки соціал-демократів у  Шлезвіг-Гольштейні.

В свою чергу перемога ХДС мала довести претензії нового лідера "партії Меркель" Фрідріха Мерца на канцлерство . Особливо – зважаючи, що  Мерц родом з цього регіону.

Проте, перемога для ХДС не стала повною. Християнські демократи не зможуть повторити  ти свою коаліцію із "Вільними демократами", рейтинг яких впав з 12,5% до 5,5%.

Таким чином, доля майбутньої коаліції у Північному Рейні-Вестфалії залежатиме від "зелених".

Також зазначається падіння рейтингів ультраправої AfD - вона отримала підтримку лише на рівні 5,5%.
