Так як Дональд Трамп досі не визнав свою поразку, можливо, він не буде присутнім на інавгурації нового президента.

Джо Байден набрав майже 81,3 млн голосів проти 74,2 млн у Дональда Трампа. Байдену вдалося отримати підтримку у багатьох ключових штатах.

За результатами голосування Колегії вибірників, за Байдена віддали голоси 302 вибірників, за Трампа - 232.

Нагадаємо, в середу, 6 січня, прихильники президента США Дональда Трампа влаштували масову акцію протесту, яка завершилася захопленням будівлі Капітолію. Мітинг проходив на тлі затвердження результатів президентських виборів, на яких переміг Джо Байден.
