Мэр Новгорода-Северского Олег Бондаренко умер от осложнений заболевания коронавирусом. В городе будут повторные выборы.

Об этом сообщила в комментарии РБК-Украина глава гражданской сети ОПОРА Ольга Айвазовская.

"Это город с численностью избирателей до 75 000. Соответственно, ТИК должна установить результаты выборов. Если победителем является умершее лицо, то после получения свидетельства о смерти, комиссия в течение 10 дней должна объявить повторные выборы", - сказала она.

Избирательный процесс начнется с самого начала, добавила Айвазовская.

Напомним, в городском совете Борисполя, до избрания нового мэра города на местных выборах обязанности городского главы не будут никому передавать.

Там тоже стало известно о смерти от коронавируса мэра Борисполя Анатолия Федорчука.

Добавим, второй тур местных выборов в Борисполе может состояться в январе 2021 года.
