Парламентські та місцеві вибори в Сербії, проведення яких відклали через епідемію коронавірусу, відбудуться 21 червня.

Про це заявив сербський президент Александар Вучич, повідомляє "Європейська правда" із посиланням на РТС.

"Питання полягало в тому, чи йти на вибори 14 або 21 червня, ми прийняли ідею деяких політичних партій, які просили ці додаткові п'ять-шість днів для проведення виборчої діяльності. Тож вибори в Республіці Сербія відбудуться 21 червня", - сказав Вучич.

Вибори спочатку були заплановані на 26 квітня, але через поширення коронавірусної інфекції їх відклали в середині березня після введення надзвичайного стану.

Провідні опозиційні сили раніше заявили про бойкот виборів.

Напередодні Вучич заявив, що Сербія цього тижня скасує надзвичайний стан у зв'язку з коронавірусом, оскільки зростання кількості інфікованих достатньо сповільнилося.
