Сенатор из Вермонта Берни Сандерс и экс-вице-президент США Джо Байден практически сравняли свои шансы в президентской гонке, набрав 27% и 24% соответственно.

 

Об этом свидетельствуют результаты опроса CNN, проведенного SSRS.

Это первый опрос, в котором Байден потерял первенство среди демократов, участвующих в президентской гонке.

В сообщении указано, что разрыв между двумя кандидатами остается в пределах погрешности выборки, а это значит, что, на самом деле, они могут быть на одном уровне.

Вместе с тем, Сандерс и Байден значительно опережают других демократов. В частности, у Элизабет Уоррен поддержка на уровне 14 %, Пита Буттигига – 11 %, Майкла Блумберга – 5 %, Тома Стейера – 2 % и так далее.

По данным опроса, в декабре к рейтингу Сандерса прибавилось семь единиц.

Сандерса, как правило, рассматривают как кандидата, который солидарен с избирателями по наиболее важным для них вопросам.

Несмотря на вторую позицию в рейтинге среди демократов, Байдена по-прежнему называют кандидатом, у которого наиболее высокие шансы, чтобы победить Трампа (45%). По этому же показателю у Сандерса только 24 %.

Опрос проводился с 16 по 19 января среди 1156 респондентов в возрасте от 18 лет. Погрешность выборки составляет 3,4 % при уровне достоверности 95 %.
