У Міністерстві культури, молоді та спорту вважають, що частина зовнішнього незалежного оцінювання або ж окремий шкільний іспит повинні стосуватися медіаграмотності.
 

Про це повідомив міністр культури, молоді та спорту Володимир Бородянський під час публічної дискусії в Укрінформі на тему: "Свобода слова, захист журналістів та інформаційного простору України від дезінформації (маніпуляції та фейків)".

"Ідея є. Її ще, напевно, зарано вголос проговорювати. Але ми вважаємо, що країна, яка знаходиться в епіцентрі такої потужної інформації війни, як наша, повинна займатися цим питанням (медіаграмотності - ред.), починаючи зі школи. І озвучу не обговорену поки що з Міністерством освіти сентенцію, тому це дуже-дуже наперед, але в принципі я вважаю, що частиною ЗНО або такого тесту, який є фінальним у школі, повинне бути розуміння людиною, як залишатись убезпеченим в інформаційному просторі. Тому ЗНО - дуже потужний інструмент у цьому випадку. Але його треба обережно використовувати, і ми це теж розуміємо. Тому поки це лише ідея - не більше й не менше того", - пояснив Бородянський.

Як повідомляв Укрінформ, раніше перший заступник міністра культури, молоді та спорту Анатолій Максимчук повідомив, що міністерство має намір розробити програму з підвищення медіаграмотності населення.
