В легитимности проведенного накануне в Киеве Объединительного собора есть сомнения. Как передает PRпортал со ссылкой на «Интерфакс», такую точку зрения озвучил спикер нелегитимной российской Госдумы Вячеслав Володин. По его словам, для участия в мероприятии не собрались представители всех православных церквей. «Легитимность решения об автокефалии, принятого в Киеве, вызывает сомнение. Очевидно, что объединительный собор не состоялся, просто по причине отсутствия на нем всех сторон, которые должны были прийти к согласию», - отметил он.
В то же время Володин считает, что президент Петр Порошенко, который объявил об автокефалии, «разрушает и без того стоящее на грани раздора украинское общество». «Он хочет только личной власти, он жаждет ее сохранить любыми способами, не задумываясь о судьбах людей и их вере», - добавил парламентарий.
Как известно, ранее Вселенский патриарх Варфоломей пригласил предстоятеля Православной церкви Украины митрополита Киевского и всея Украины Епифания для участия в богослужении и получения Томоса об автокефалии.
