Кримінальну справу стосовно одного з фондів кандидата-республіканця в президенти США Дональда Трампа заведено щодо невиконання законів штату Нью-Йорк, що регулюють діяльність благодійних установ.

За словами прокурора штату Еріка Шнейдермана в інтерв'ю CNN, силовики "стурбовані тим, що фонд Трампа, можливо, бере участь у якійсь некоректній діяльності", передає Новое время

"Ми розслідуємо цей питання і вступили з ними в листування", - зазначив прокурор.

Згідно з повідомленням, у кримінальних справах фігурує також "Університет Трампа", який пропонує курси у сфері операцій з нерухомістю.

Шнейдерман зазначив, що багато студентів заплатили за навчання мільйони доларів при тому, що сам Трамп не брав ніякої участі в написанні навчальних програм. До того ж у 2010 році університет припинив свою діяльність.

Нагадаємо, вибори президента США відбудуться 8 листопада. Основними претендентами на пост глави держав є Трамп і його суперниця від демократів Хілларі Клінтон.
