Серия мультфильмов «Козаки.Футбол», продолжение легендарного мультсериала мультипликатора Владимира Дахно, стала первым примером собственного производства контента для Megogo.

Мультфильм создавался совместно с анимационной студией Baraban и автором сценария оригинального эпоса Эдуардом Киричем. Общий бюджет проекта составил несколько сот тысяч долларов, а онлайн-кинотеатр обладает эксклюзивным правом на показ мультсериала в интернете, пишет  AIN.ua

В современных «Козаках» будет 26 коротких серий. Они приурочены в Чемпионату Европы по футболу, который пройдет с 10 июня по 10 июля, и показывает о приключениях героев в Европе. Работа над мультсериалом продолжается, а премьера первых серий состоится уже завтра. Новые мультфильмы будут выходить в течение всего Чемпионата.

«Козаки» будут распостранятся бесплатно по рекламной модели через вебсайт и приложения онлайн-кинотеатра для всех плафторм.

По мнению СEO Megogo Владимира Боровика, выход мультфильма имеет «огромное значение для развития VOD-сегмента Украины и СНГ в целом», поскольку легальные видеосервисы начали производить собственный контент. В данный момент, ежемесячная аудитория Megogo составляет 48 млн. уникальных пользователей. В каталоге ресурса присутствуют более 70 тыс. единиц видео.

Напомним, что недавно видеосервис запустил трансляцию телеканалов Discovery и Eurosport.
