Известный российский журналист и враг Кремля Андрей Бабицкий запустит в Донецке собственный телеканал.

Уволенный журналист "Радио Свобода" заявляет, что западные СМИ очень пристрастны в вопросе освещения конфликта на Востоке Украины.

"Мы хотим отойти от языка ненависти, чтобы использовать больше анализа и попытаться донести голоса с другой стороны линии разграничения", - пояснил концепцию нового телеканала Бабицкий, пишет The Guardian, передает ТСН

Канал будет называться "Диалог" и идея его в том, чтобы найти общий язык между Донецком и другой частью Украины.

Журналист отметил, что финансирование никак не связано с властью так называемой "ДНР". По словам Бабицкого, новый канал будет проплачивать донецкий бизнесмен.

Мужчина планирует нанять около шести человек, чтобы канал заработал уже через месяц.

Бабицкий отметил, что новый канал не будет придерживать одной из сторон конфликта, однако уклонился от ответа на вопрос относительно возможной критики каналом самопровозглашенной власти "ДНР".

Бабицкий стал известным в России, но в то же время враждебным для Кремля, в период войны в Чечне, поскольку открыто осуждал политику Путина.

В начале 2000 годов мужчину похищали российские войска и о нем не слышали на протяжении долгого периода.

После освобождения журналист был вынужден покинуть Россию и работать за границей.
