У США під час хокейного матчу між Нью-Джерсі Девілз та Вашингтон Кепіталз у Ньюарку вшанували загиблого на Сході України бійця батальйону “Донбас” Марка Паславського, пише VIDIA.

Під час матчу на табло з’явилось фото Марка Паславського. А не увесь стадіон засвітився напис “Герої поміж нас”. Посмертно Марка вшанували званням Герой гри.

Багато із присутніх на стадіоні були українцями, вони принесли із собою українські прапори та символіку- На вшануванні була присутня й родина Марка Паславського, який зростав у Нью-Джерсі.

У матчі, зазначимо, не бракувало драматичних моментів. У складі Нью-Джерсі Девілз зіграли троє хокеїстів українського походження. А у Вашингтон Кепіталз – російський хокеїст Олександр Овечкін, який виступив на підтримку Путіна під час конфлікту на Донбасі.

У той же день під час і після гри українці провели Український вечір, представивиши усім відвідувачам українську культуру.
