Информация, распространенная «карманным» СМИ так называемых властей Крыма «Крыминформ» о перелицензировании продукции корпорации Microsoft, оказалась ложной

«Информация о том, что Microsoft якобы отправлял письма о необходимости перелицензировать ранее приобретенное ПО не соответствует действительности», - сообщили в компании Microsoft, передает ДеПо.

Письмо с предложением лицензировать ранее приобретенное ПО было разослано IT-компанией Comparex. В нем есть ссылка на стандартное письмо о способах лицензирования продуктов Microsoft. «Письмо (Microsoft, - прим. ред.) является стандартным извещением о наиболее выгодных способах легализации пиратских продуктов. Подобные письма рассылаются во всех странах присутствия Microsoft», - сказали в Microsoft.
