Німецького генерала Гартмута Ренка, який служив у місії НАТО з військової допомоги Україні, звільнили після того, як під час наради він сказав: "Якщо зґвалтування неминуче — розслабся і отримуй задоволення

Як пише Der Spiegel, цю фразу почув британський офіцер і негайно поскаржився командуванню. Сам Ренк визнав, що сказав це, але пояснив, що "не мав нічого серйозного на увазі" і "просто хотів мотивувати солдатів".

Попри пояснення, проти нього відкрили дисциплінарну справу, а 1 травня міністр оборони Німеччини Борис Пісторіус підписав наказ про звільнення генерала.
