Нагадаємо, 12 травня 2016 року Верховна Рада ухвалила постанову про перейменування 69 населених пунктів Автономної Республіки Крим і 1 села на території Севастопольської міськради в рамках декомунізації. Майже всім їм були визначені кримськотатарські назви, які вони носили до депортації кримських татар з півострова. У той же час, згідно з текстом документа, він вступає в силу з моменту повернення тимчасово окупованої території півострова під загальну юрисдикцію України. На даний момент, згідно з базою законодавства на сайті парламенту, цього ще не сталося (зміст документів, що не набули чинності, відображається на жовтому фоні). У липні минулого року картографічний сервіс Google Maps почав використовувати неофіційні назви деяких населених пунктів Криму. Проте згодом Google пообіцяв повернути в російську версію сервісу колишні назви населених пунктів.
