Ирена Карпа, известная украинская писательница, а также культурный атташе Украины во Франции, приняла участие в съемках для украинского издания L'Officiel. Фотографии, следует отметить, получились весьма эксцентричны.

Наряду с фотографиями также вышло и ее небольшое интервью, в котором она призналась, что всегда старается привить читателям чувство, как будто они, не просто читают книгу, а находятся непосредственно внутри нее. В связи с этим, говорит писательница, в своих произведениях она акцентирует огромное внимание именно на деталях. «Конечно, есть какие-то тенденции, темы, например активизация крайне правых сил в Европе, но и о них я буду рассказывать с помощью подслушанного в кафе разговора, того, что говорят по радио... Знаю, что после моего последнего романа есть люди, которые сами начали писать книги"» - поведала Ирена.

Ирена также рассказала, чем отличаются друг от друга украинские и французские женщины. По ее словам, любые границы сдвигает чрезмерная эмпатия француженок. У украинок же с этим «все плохо», говорит Карпа, поскольку они привыкли жить не для себя, а для кого-то.
