Американська розважальна компанія Netflix, яка займається потоковим онлайн-мовленням, обігнала на торгах 24 травня кінокомпанію Disney. Таким чином, вона була визнана найдорожчою медіакомпанії в світі. Про це пише Кореспондент із посиланням на  Variety.

 
За інформацією видання, на торгах у четвер вартість акцій Netflix зросла на 1,3% до $349,29.
 
Такий показник дав компанії близько 1,61 мільярда ринкової капіталізації. Порівняно з минулим роком, вона зросла для Netflix на 82 відсотки.
 
У той же час, акції Disney, навпаки, впали на 0,7% - до $102,11. В результаті, вартість компанії на сьогодні становить 152 мільярди доларів.
 
Сервіс Netflix зміг побити власні прогнози на перший квартал поточного року за кількістю передплатників у Сполучених Штатах і за межами країни. Наразі кількість передплатників на Netflix по всьому світу складає 125 мільйонів чоловік.
