Президент Володимир Зеленський вважає, що у нього немає конкурентів серед політиків. Про це він сказав в ефірі програми VIP з Наталією Мосейчук.

"Не хочу нікого образити, я вважаю, що у мене немає жодного конкурента. Мої конкуренти - це інфраструктура, війна, бідність людей. Це - найголовніше... тому що я хочу це змінити. Якщо це не зміню, це головні мої конкуренти", - сказав він.

Відповідаючи на питання, чи може бути його конкурентом мер Києва Віталій Кличко, президент сказав: "Є мер, у нього є відповідальність, у нього є всі ці важелі, влада тощо. Він хоче, щоб ми допомогли? Ми готові. У нас немає зараз якихось відносин, він чомусь вирішив, він так сказав, що влада переслідує за політичну конкуренцію. Мені здається, він забув, що він мер - і вирішив почати президентську кампанію".

Говорячи про можливість другої президентської каденції, Зеленський зазначив, що це залежить не від нього, "це вибір людей".

"Хочеться деякі речі просто встигнути зробити. Мені здається, я багато встигну", - додав Зеленський.
