Российский режиссер Александр Сокуров после вручения ему премии "Ника" выступил с речью, в которой упомянул украинского политзаключенного, режиссера Олега Сенцова и раскритиковал действия властей во время воскресных антикоррупционных акций в России.

"Сегодня я хочу сказать, что я жду решения президента, ответа на вопрос, который мы обсуждали - судьба Олега Сенцова. Мне президент сказал, что он будет думать над этой проблемой. Я это говорю потому, что я, как и многие из нас, в воскресенье смотрел то, что происходило в стране. И мне кажется, что государство совершает большую ошибку, ведя себя так фамильярно с молодыми людьми - со школьниками, со студентами... Я несколько лет был со студентами нашими. Это ребята с Северного Кавказа. И я очень хорошо знаю настроения молодых людей не только там, но и настроение молодых людей в центральной части страны... Я хочу обратиться к нашим депутатам - мужчинам-депутатам. Женщины такого нового закона не примут. Давайте мы примем закон, запрещающий арестовывать и вообще прикасаться к девушкам, женщинам, которые принимают участие в общественных акциях. Вы видели, как много было вот этих жертв в воскресенье - когда за руки, за ноги хватали девчонок, школьниц и тащили куда-то. Грубо. Это было насилие", - заявил Сокуров.
