Штаб новообраного президента США Дональда Трампа розпочав відбір кандидатів на ключові посади у майбутній адміністрації, яку потрібно буде сформувати у січні 2017 року.

Про це повідомляє The Wall Street Journal з посиланням на джерела, близькі до штабу, пише Media Sapiens

Губернатор Нью-Джерсі Кріс Крісті, який очолює команду перехідного періоду, став одним з кандидатів на пост генерального прокурора. На цю посаду також розглядають кандидатури губернатора Арканзаса Аса Хатчінсона, колишнього спікера Палати представників Конгресу Ньюта Гінгріча та колишнього мера Нью-Йорка Рудольфа Джуліані. Останній заявив виданню, що його не цікавить робота генпрокурора.

На посаду міністра охорони здоров’я і соціальних служб розглядають губернатора Луїзіани Боббі Джиндла і колишнього нейрохірурга Бена Карсона, який поступився Трампу в республіканських праймеріз. Пост міністра внутрішніх справ запропонували губернатору Оклахоми Мері Феллін.

У команді перехідного періоду також є група, яка вивчає, як Трамп може у короткі терміни виконати обіцянку щодо будівництва стіни на південному кордоні США для запобігання нелегальній імміграції.

Трамп отримав 306 голосів виборників проти 232 голосів у його суперниці від Демократичної партії Гілларі Клінтон. При цьому Гілларі Клінтон набрала більше голосів виборців про країні в цілому.

10 листопада Трамп відвідає Білий дім для зустрічі з діючим президентом Бараком Обамою. З цього дня обраний президент також отримуватиме щоденні доповіді про стан національної безпеки.
